Brickwork masonry is produced when a bricklayer uses bricks and mortar to build up structures such as walls, bridges and chimneys. Where the bricks are to remain fully visible, as opposed to being covered up by plaster or stucco, this is known as face-work.

Brickwork, like unreinforced concrete, has little tensile strength, and works by everything being kept in compression.Brickwork arches can span great distances, and carry considerable loads.
 
 
  Cement Mason :  
 

A concrete finisher, also known as a cement mason is a tradesman who works with concrete, which includes placing, finishing, protecting and repairing concrete in engineering and construction projects. Concrete finishers are often responsible for setting the concrete forms, ensuring they have the correct depth and pitch. Concrete finishers place the concrete either directly from the concrete wagon chute, concete pump, concrete skip or wheelbarrow.
 
 
  Carpenter :  
 

A carpenter is a skilled craftsman who performs carpentry a wide range of woodworking that includes constructing buildings, furniture, and other objects out of wood. The work generally involves significant manual labor and work outdoors, particularly in rough carpentry.

Carpentry is an old profession that has often been respected for its importance in society throughout much of history.most of carpentry's required knowledge is gained through experience, the trade can be relatively easy to enter, but the job may not pay well. It is possible through dedication to have a prosperous career in carpentry.
 
 
  Drainage :  
 

The civil engineer or site engineer is responsible for drainage in construction projects. They set out from the plans all the roads, drainage, culverts and sewers involved in construction operations. During the construction of the work on site he/she will set out all the necessary levels for each of the previously mentioned factors.

Site engineers work alongside architects and construction managers, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors, the general workforce, as well as subcontractors.

 
 
  Electrician :  
 

Electrician is a tradesman specializing in electrical wiring of buildings and related equipment. Electricians may be employed in the construction of new buildings or maintenance of existing electrical infrastructure.There are two general types of electrical work: Construction work, which includes reading blueprints, wiring, installing, and testing electrical systems; and maintenance work, which involves troubleshooting, testing, and fixing already installed, improperly functioning, electrical systems.Most construction electricians are employed by contractors during the secondary phases of building.
 
 
Elevator mechanic :
 

Elevator mechanic is someone who constructs, modenizes, repairs, or services conveyances. Typically elevator mechanics only work on elevators, escalators, dumbwaiters, wheelchair lifts, moving walks, and other equipment providing vertical transportation. In many countries, particularly in North America, the elevator mechanic belongs to a trade, called Elevator Constructors. In this profession, labor unions have a large impact on who works as an elevator mechanic, depending on the country they work in. Local codes and laws only allow certain people with permits, to work on conveyances like elevators.
 
 
  Masonry :  
 

Masonry is the building of structures from individual units laid in and bound together by mortar. The common materials of masonry construction are brick, stone such as marble, granite, travertine, limestone; concrete block, glass block, and tile. Masonry is generally a highly durable form of construction. However, the materials used, the quality of the mortar and workmanship, and the pattern the units are laid in can strongly affect the durability of the overall masonry construction.
 
 
  Painter and decorator :  
 

The painter and decorator was responsible for the mixing of the paint; keeping a ready supply of pigments, oils, thinners, driers and sundries. The painter would use his experience to determine a suitable mixture dependent upon the nature of the job. This role has reduced almost to zero as modern paint manufacturing techniques and architect specifications have created a reliance on brand label products.Larger firms operating within the trade were generally capable of performing many painting or decoration services, from signwriting, to the gilding of objects or even the finishing or re-finishing of furniture.
